Stony Brook University hosts holiday toy drive for children's hospital

Wendy Pearson Vice President for Strategic Initiatives | Stony Brook University

The Stony Brook University Division of Enterprise Risk Management is organizing its annual Holiday Toy Drive to benefit pediatric patients at Stony Brook Children’s Hospital. The drive invites the community to donate new and unwrapped gifts, which can be placed in collection boxes located at various points on campus, including the Administration Building, Stony Brook Union, Student Activities Center, Student Health Center, Suffolk Hall, and the University Police Department. Donations will be accepted until the end of the day on Wednesday, December 11.

On Thursday, December 12, a caravan led by first responder vehicles will transport the collected toys from the Wang Center to Stony Brook Children’s Hospital. The hospital has provided a Holiday Gift Wish List as a guide for donations. Adhering to this list ensures that children receive desired gifts and helps manage inventory for future needs.

For further details about the toy drive or specific donation inquiries, individuals can contact Environmental Health and Safety at (631) 632-6410.
