Staller Center names Katie Stockhammer as first assistant director

Katie Stockhammer Assistant Director | Stony Brook University

The Staller Center for the Arts has introduced a new leadership role, appointing Katie Stockhammer as its first assistant director. This development is part of the center's efforts to enhance its operational structure and better serve the community.

Stockhammer will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, including production management, and will play a crucial role in managing staff and resources. Her appointment comes at a time when the Staller Center is experiencing growth, necessitating focused leadership and streamlined operations.

Having joined the Staller team in 2011, Stockhammer has held several leadership roles such as development director, financial and executive director of the Friends of Staller, and director of finance and operations. She has been key in managing finances and supporting staff development at the center.

"Katie has been the backbone of the center for several years," said Alan Inkles, director of the Staller Center. "I am tremendously confident in her abilities to manage our exceptional team and grateful to her for her over a dozen years of service. I am very proud to have her as the first ever assistant director at Staller Center."
