Women Are Overwhelmingly for Trump
That impact was felt immediately this week at the Trump rally at Nassau Coliseum. Walking through the crowd it was easy to see that the leftist narrative that Trump was against women, thus if you were a woman you aren't for Trump was completely inaccurate. I live in a family where my mother and wife are Trump supporters so this shouldn't have come as a surprise to me, but the sheer number of women at the event was quite shocking. There was a point in the pre-rally where I would go as far to say there were more women than men among the tens of thousands there.
William Floyd Soccer Gets The Shutout
Senior forward Jazai Kidd scored two goals, which now brings his season number to 6 total goals as he led his team to an impressive win. Seniors Julian Podstupka and Illyas Rountine each contributed a goal, while junior Estevan Gonzales scored his first varsity goal.

My press credentials were actually accepted first out of the entire news team. I joked that the Trump team must have seen my social media in support of him, that's why I was approved first, and a part of me still wants to believe that. You see I have taken many knocks for being a supporter of Trump, one of his earliest that I know in fact, and I have never wavered in that support so this was going to be a special event.

Coach Bryant Is a Hall of Famer
Megan T. Bryant was named Stony Brook's head softball coach in 2001. A three-time America East Coach of the Year (2009, 2012 & 2014), Bryant is the winningest manager in program history with 666 career victories at the helm of the Seawolves' program. She has 1010 total in 37 seasons of coaching. Stony Brook has totaled 30 wins or more 11 times under Bryant.

He certainly feels the connection, even naming his daughter after one of the fallen on that dreadful day. Acritelli was quick to say how "important it is to acknowledge all of our veterans. Every veteran of today and tomorrow." He went on to say how vital it is that "this generation understands the sacrifices that the armed forces gave to protect our way of life."

Don't Make The Same Week 2 Mistakes This Week
here is an old saying that the house always wins and sometimes in sports betting that feels like every week. But, this past week was especially bad for the public. Sports book directors were quoted as calling week 2 in the NFL "a bloodbath for the customers" and "our best week in years".
Parkway Power Bowl
William Floyd won the back and forth battle 36-29. Longwood was down midway through the 4th quarter and drove down the field to score. Down by two points they went for the conversion and the attempt was successful. So, with less than 8 minutes left in the game the fans were treated to a tie game.

When Christian McCaffrey was tabbed to be the cover of the Madden game this season a collective groan came over 49 land and the fantasy community alike. Those who know, know. EA itself has publicly denied the existence of the curse, which tells you everything you need to know about its popularity.
A Special Day Ends With A W For Rocky Point
The Eagles came away with the victory over the Sharks by a score of 13-12. The crowd was energized and excited to watch the hard hitting and full on defensive display that was being shown off in the first half. The Sharks drove down the field a few times but a timely interception by the Eagles and some key stops kept the game scoreless heading into the half.
Connetquot With a Statement Win
Barnwell was coming off of a very strong sophomore season, but no one could have expected these sort of numbers in game one of his junior year. Barnwell exceeded all expectations as he ran all over Pat-Med. Barnwell rushed 21 times for 170 yards and one touchdown. He also had three catches out of the backfield and as impressive as his day was it could have been even bigger had it not been for two other scores being called back for penalties.
The Patriots Win A Back and Forth Battle
The Patriots got the scoring started when Joe Benedetto scored from inside the 10 yard line to give them a 7-0 first quarter lead. Benedetto went on to carry the ball 18 times for 101 yards on the day. Ward Melville was up 14-0 before Sachem North punched one in before the half on a passing touchdown.
