Three NYC men charged with catalytic converter thefts in Suffolk County
Suffolk County authorities have announced the arrest and arraignment of three New York City men accused of stealing catalytic converters from vehicles in Suffolk County. The individuals, identified as Jose Deleon, 37, from Brooklyn, Oliver Morocho, 21, and Albert Espinal, 23, both from Queens, face charges including Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree.

Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney has announced the indictment of Remon Gibson, 43, from Bellport, on charges including Operating as a Major Trafficker. The charges follow what is described as the largest fentanyl seizure in Suffolk history. Law enforcement reportedly discovered 33 pounds of illegal narcotics at Gibson's residence, consisting of approximately 7 kilograms of fentanyl and 8 kilograms of cocaine.
Ronkonkoma man pleads guilty to manslaughter for double homicide

Balcerak faces charges including Endangering the Welfare of an Incompetent or Physically Disabled Person in the First Degree and Forcible Touching. The charges stem from allegations that he impersonated a housing specialist from the Department of Social Services and sexually abused a resident at a homeless shelter.

Tierney announced that Dakota Rose, a 25-year-old resident of East Northport, has pleaded guilty to charges related to the sexual abuse of a toddler and the creation of child pornography. Rose admitted guilt to charges of Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance and Sexual Abuse in the First Degree.
Bay Shore man sentenced up to three decades for kidnapping ex-girlfriend
Holmark Garces, 35, from Bay Shore, has been sentenced to 27 to 30 years in prison for kidnapping his ex-girlfriend at knifepoint and other related charges. The sentencing follows a jury's guilty verdict on several counts including kidnapping and criminal possession of a weapon.

Leo Flores-Gracias, 26, of Huntington Station, has been sentenced to 4 to 12 years in prison for his involvement in a fatal drunk driving incident. Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Mastic Beach resident pleads guilty to manslaughter and robbery charges
David Trent, a 19-year-old from Mastic Beach, has pleaded guilty to manslaughter and other charges related to a fatal shooting outside the Minx Nightclub in Farmingville and an armed robbery of a Lyft driver in Wading River. Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney announced the plea.
